COVID Solutions

Cambridge Genetics was founded by life science industry veterans committed to speed the battle against 2019-nCov. We are able to provide three critically needed solutions to the crises. First, we provide fast-track supplies of the most widely used RT-PCR Kit for detecting 2019-nCoV. Second, we offer a full line of personal protective equipment to protect laboratory staff, healthcare and other front-line institutional workers. Lastly, we provide hospitals with a unique Tele-ICU solution to help limit the clinical staff’s exposure to infected patients.

COVID-19 Test Solution

Fast and accurate diagnosis is critical as the number of patients infected with 2019-nCoV grows exponentially. Many labs are struggling to scale a diagnostic test for 2019-nCoV. Cambridge Genetics supplies the most widely used Real-Time PCR Test Kit for 2019-nCoV. BGI’s Real-Time Fluorescent RT-PCR kit is a qualitative in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay which detects 2019-nCoV using Reverse transcription PCR from throat swab and Bronchoalveolar Lavage Fluid (BALF) samples.
Located in Massachusetts, Cambridge Genetics is an authorized fast-track supplier of BGI’s RT-PCR Kit for 2019-nCoV.

COVID Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Solutions

Through long standing relationships with suppliers, Cambridge Genetics is able to offer personal protective equipment (PPE) to laboratories, hospitals and other institutions who are on the front lines of battling COVID-19. We offer a full line of respirators, isolation face shields, protective goggles, gowns and other PPE supplies. Supplies are under stain and each order requires individual confirmation.

Tele-ICU Solution

Tele-ICU is the technology that allows critical care specialists to monitor and manage the care of critically ill patients remotely from a centralized command center in order to minimize critical care staff from infection. Remote sites are connected to the command center via loT and sophisticated telecommunication systems.
This solution provides real-time and continuous audio and video feeds as well as electronic data streams of patient information such as physiological status, treatment and medical records. This live connectivity enables intensivists to promptly intervene and consistently provide a standardized best-practice care.
